Afcomz Privacy Policy & Consent Agreement

By registering and using Afcomz and/or the Afcomz App, you are consenting to the collection, processing, and use of your personal information as described below. Please read this carefully before proceeding.
1. Data Controller
Afcomz (referred to as "we," "us," or "our") will be the data controller responsible for your personal information collected through the Afcomz App.
2. Information We Collect and How We Use It
2.1 For Businesses – Limited Companies
By registering your business on Afcomz, you agree to provide us with the following information:
- Identification: Names (Owners/Director(s) and Business name), Business Registration documents (if applicable).
- Contact Information: Location, Address(es), Contacts (phones & emails), Opening/Closing Hours.
- Business Details: Nature of Business, GPS location for easy access and search
- Subscription Details: Subscription level required (Regular, Premium Plan, Mega Plan) and payment details for subscription fees (processed securely by third-party payment processors – see section 5).
We will use this information to:
- Create and manage your business profile.
- Connect your business with others and consumers globally.
- Make your business discoverable based on location and category.
2.2 For Individual Consumers / Sole Traders / Partnerships
By registering as a consumer on the Afcomz App, you agree to provide us with the following:
- Identification: Names.
- Contact Information: Email and Address.
- Payment Details: Required when making purchases, bookings, or reservations (processed securely by third-party payment processors – see section 5).
We will use this information to:
- Create and manage your profile.
- Connect you with businesses globally.
- Enable service/product search.
- Facilitate communication with businesses.
- Enable orders, payments, bookings, reservations, deliveries.
- Allow leaving reviews.
3. Data Sharing
We may share your business/personal information with:
- Other users (to facilitate connections & transactions).
- Service providers (as necessary to operate Afcomz).
- Third parties (only with your explicit consent).
Note: personal information can also amount to business information.
4. Data Retention
We retain your information as long as necessary to provide services. Inactive businesses/consumers may have their data disposed after 6–12 months. Rejoining requires renewed consent and re-submission of information.
5. Payment Information
Afcomz does not access or control your bank account or transaction details. All payments are processed securely via third-party processors (e.g., Stripe). You are subject to their terms and policies when making payments.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request deletion of your information.
- Make a data access request.
To exercise these rights, contact us via the Afcomz App or website.
7. Withdrawal of Consent
Businesses may unsubscribe anytime by not paying the subscription fee or notifying Afcomz. This suspends their profile, and after 6 months of inactivity, we may deactivate it.
Consumers can request deletion of their account and data at any time.
8. Updates to this Consent Agreement
We may update this agreement from time to time. Significant changes will be notified via the Afcomz App or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updates.
